Singer/songwriter Jordan Rowe has only been in Music City for one year but he’s already made quite the mark on the Nashville music community.
After signing with River House Artists, Tape Room Music and Creative Artists Agency, the Georgia native shared his unique take on a breakup song with the release of “Good For Nothin’.” Co-written by Rowe, Ray Fulcher (Luke Combs) and Jay Brunswick (Reba, Chris Janson, Parmalee), the tune takes a lighthearted, fun approach to a breakup anthem and has an infectious groove that sticks with listeners for days.
“Good for Nothin’” is one of those songs that I knew I would release before we even finished writing it. How often do you get to have this much fun with a breakup song,” Rowe previously shared. “Having the River House team to help with that process has been an awesome experience and one I am very thankful for. It’s been a whirlwind first year in Nashville, and I just thank God for this and every opportunity He gives me.”
Now, Rowe is sharing an acoustic take on the song with a performance video premiering exclusively on Country Now. The stripped-down rendition showcases Rowe’s undeniable country vocals in a familiar, yet unfamiliar setting.
“My favorite part of making the video for the acoustic version was feeling like I was backstage again,” Rowe says of the clip. “When you watch it, you’ll know what I mean by where we filmed it and what’s in the background. In a year where that hasn’t been a thing, that was a great feeling to have again.“
