Rising country singer/songwriter Kendal Conrad is giving new life to her single “Leader of the Pack” with a visualizer video premiering exclusively on Country Now

The song, which also premiered on Country Now in late 2019, has gone on to amass over 26 million Tiktok views and more than 1 million plays on Soundcloud.

Kendal Conrad co-wrote “Leader of the Pack” with Sharen Conrad and Anthony Gallagher.

“‘Leader of the Pack’ has been my personal anthem, a reminder that I am stronger than any adversity thrown my way,” Conrad tells us of the track.

Produced by Matt McVaney (Kane Brown, Lauren Alaina), the R&B/pop-tinged country track finds Conrad presenting herself as a woman scorned who unleashes a strong message to the man who dumped her: she’ll always rise from the ashes regardless of his deceitful actions.

“If you throw me to the wolves / I’ll come back, come back, I’ll come back, come back / The leader of the pack, pack / The leader of the pack, pack,” Conrad sings throughout the hook-heavy chorus, which features captivating saw-toothed fiddles and haunting sounds of a wolf’s howl.

Conrad first caught attention from fans back in 2014 when she took the stage to duet with Keith Urban on his No. 1 hit “We Were Us” as part of his Raise ‘Em Up Tour. Previously, she’s opened for artists such as Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, Old Dominion, Chris Lane and more.
