Faith Hill surprised Tim McGraw with an at-home album release party for his forthcoming album, Here On Earth, on Monday evening (Aug. 17) and it looks like it was a night they’ll never forget.
Hill posted a video from the evening on Instagram, revealing that she and their three daughters surprised McGraw with the backyard soiree. During the intimate family gathering, they listened to his new album in its entirety together, which is a first for the family.
“The girls and I surprised Tim with our first ever family album release party. Yeah, I know…..Honestly, it is the truth. We have never listened to one of our new albums with just the girls. Ever,” she shared. An unforgettable evening for what in my humble opinion is one of the greatest albums Tim has ever recorded. We listened to the double vinyl records blaring from the speakers!!!!!! A night we will never forget.”
She went on to gush over her husband of over 20 years and his new record, Here On Earth.
“We are so proud of this man!!!!!! He has created a masterpiece,” she wrote.
Here On Earth marks McGraw’s 16th studio album and his first solo project in five years. Out Friday (Aug. 21), the 16-track project features his current and very timely single, “I Called Mama.”
The three-time Grammy winner will celebrate the album’s release with a virtual album release event on Friday. Fans can purchase tickets to the one-of-a-kind album event HERE.
