Frankie Ballard and Wife Christina Welcome First Child

Frankie Ballard and his wife Christina welcomed their first child, a daughter named Pepper Lynn, on Saturday, February 8.

The couple took to social media on Thursday evening (Feb. 20) to announce the news via Old Smokeys Boots’ Instagram, a shoe and accessory store founded by Christina.

“I’ll never forget this unbelievable day with you and how my heart grew a schimillion times watching you hold our baby girl,” Christina wrote in a message to her husband. “Thank you Jesus for my sweet family of 3. My cup is running over and full to the brim. Pepper Lynn you’re a precious angel and beautiful gift from Heaven and I love being your Mommy. Cue all the tears.”

Ballard commented on the announcement post, writing, “MY SOUL IS ON FIRE WITH LOVE. Chriss, You claimed Motherhood with grace and strength.”

The singer/songwriter is thrilled to be a dad and admitted that he experienced the “most unique feeling” when he first learned that Chrissy was pregnant. “I can only describe it as a combination of emotion and words. Shock-tacular, grateful, awe,” he previously said.

Frankie Ballard and Christina first met in 2013 when she was cast in his “Helluva Life” music video. The couple tied the knot in March 2017 at Star Hill Ranch in Bee Cave, Texas. They announced their pregnancy in early November.
