Gabby Barrett continues to take the country music world by storm as her debut single, “I Hope,” nears the Top 10 at country radio. With an opening slot on Brad Paisley’s 2020 World Tour and appearances at many of country music’s hottest summer festivals on the books, 2020 is shaping up to be a career-defining year for the rising superstar.
Before her touring schedule kicks into high gear, Barrett sat down with Country Now to complete our Pop Quiz, where she revealed fun facts about herself, like her style icon, her musical hero and what she would eat every single day if she could. The American Idol alum also shared something fans would be surprised to know about her and we still can’t get over the fact that she’s never seen The Sound of Music!

Over the course of her career, she has had the privilege of conducting interviews with some of the industry’s most prominent stars, including Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, and many others. Lauren Jo Black is a longtime member of the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music.
