Barrett Will Not Be Appearing At The Event
While sharing details for the upcoming celebration via social media, Barrett made sure to inform fans that because she is due to welcome her third child very soon, she will not be in attendance.
“IT’S ALBUM RELEASE WEEK!!! 🥳 If you’re in Nashville on Thursday + Friday, you can stop by the Chapter & Verse Experience downtown at @fifthandb!! We have so many fun things to show y’all, giving an exclusive peek behind the curtain of the album and my life the past few years. I won’t be able to be there in person because my baby will be here any second now, BUT ALBUM LISTENING EVENT on Friday 2/2 from 3pm – 4pm.”
She ended the post by asking fans to tag her in their pictures and videos so that she could join in on the fun virtually and “feel like I’m right there with y’all 🤍 ENJOY!”
“Chapter & Verse” Highlights Authenticity And The Power Of Faith
This highly anticipated 14-song project offers an in-depth look into the current chapter of Barrett’s journey as a 23-year-old mom, wife, and hard-working country star. The Warner Music Nashville multi-platinum star opens up about the highs and lows while tributing her faith for getting her through any obstacle that comes her way.
Listeners have gotten the first taste of the autobiographical project through advanced releases of songs like “Glory Days,” her current single that’s Top 20-and-climbing at Country radio, “Cowboy Back” and “Growin’ Up Raising You,” a heartfelt tune that touches on being a mom of two with another one on the way.
With the official track list on display now via social media, fans can see that the album will also feature a guest spot from Phil Wickham (“The Verse: Doxology (Amen)” and background vocals by Luke Combs on “Dance Like No One’s Watching,” a tune that Barrett has previously teased on Instagram.
The songstress poured true authenticity into this collection as she took a hands on approach by serving as a co-producer on every track alongside GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter-producer Ross Copperman. She also had a hand in co-writing nine of the 14 songs and collaborating with hitmakers including Miranda Lambert on the remainder of the tracks.
Announcing Baby No. 3
On August 30, the Pennsylvania native and her husband of four years, Cade Foehner, took to social media to share that they will soon be proud parents of three kids. The new baby will join their son Augustine Boone (9 months) and daughter Baylah May (3 years).
The pair of American Idol alums made the announcement through a joint Instagram post that found them sitting close together on stage during a rehearsal. In front of them was a speaker with the message “baby #3” written on the front.
On the third and final slide of the post, Barrett is seen lying down with a Baby Doppler on her belly, a device that allows her to hear the baby’s heartbeat from the comfort of her own home.
“SWIPE for a surprise 🩷 #livingthedream,” the Pennsylvania native captioned the photo on Instagram.
Gabby Barrett will take some well-deserved time off the road to spend with her family, before returning to the road for her next scheduled show at the Brown County Fairgrounds in Aberdeen, SD on August 12.
