Garth Brooks has announced that fans will have the chance to purchase a permanent reminder of their experience at his Las Vegas residency, Garth Brooks/Plus ONE.
Taking to Twitter, the award-winning country music star’s team revealed that a tattoo shop in Sin City is now offering customers Brooks’ official signature as a tattoo.
The social media post reads, “You guys asked for it and Garth made it happen. Nilson at Hypnotic Tattoos is the only artist with Garth’s official signature if you are looking to get a tattoo while you’re in Vegas. Reach out to him here: Hypnotictattoos@gmail.com 702-444-2500- Team Garth”
According to the shop’s Instagram page, the response for this artwork has been so well received that they are currently booked. However, they assured fans that they are working on making more room for all the hopeful customers looking to get some new Garth Brooks-themed ink for the opening weekend of his residency.
“To my Garth fans…We are working on responding to the emails, texts and messages for tattoo appointments. I know some of you are in town for the opening weekend shows and we want to make sure we can accommodate you,” the message read. “We are currently booked. However, we are trying to squeeze in as many of you as we can. Thank you for your patience. Hypnotic Tattoos.”
Garth Brooks/Plus ONE is set to take place in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, a venue that creates a more intimate setting as it holds 4,300 seats.
Since this allows for a much smaller capacity of fans than Brooks’ previous three-and-a-half-year global stadium tour, tickets have been in high demand. As a result, the “If Tomorrow Never Comes” singer has just announced that 18 new dates have been added in 2024.
“When the 2023 shows went on sale, I felt extremely fortunate and blessed. To even think I would get do this for another year makes me happier than I can explain. Thank you for the chance,” Brooks shared in a press release.
Sitting down with Good Morning America, the country star recently shared an inside look at what fans can expect from the new production. One unique element of this set of shows is that Brooks has instated a “no phone, no video” policy.
This rule gives him the freedom to share brand-new, unreleased music solely with the various groups of fans who come to see him in Las Vegas.
“I’m hoping they get something here that they can’t get anywhere else,” Brooks told the outlet. “I think it’s a laboratory, because it’s a no phone, no video policy, which makes me go, ‘Here’s a song I was working on today.’”
As a whole, Garth Brooks/Plus ONE is expected to deliver a new show to fans each night with varying band members and the occasional special guest. This is where the “plus one” portion of the show’s title comes into play. It holds a certain mystery because it means that anyone could join Brooks on stage throughout his set, but the audience won’t know until it happens in front of them.
“When somebody buys a ticket, and receives something that money can’t buy — that’s hopefully when you’ve done what I think you’re down here to do,” he said. “I just can’t believe this is happening.”
The goal is to build something beyond just another country concert and to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience between Brooks and his audience members. While every show in Las Vegas is expected to be slightly different, he assured that his fan-favorite classics will remain in the setlist.
“It’s one of those things — I think I’ll go to my grave thinking this might be the only time God made a mistake,” Brooks said with a laugh as he reflected on the career he’s built in the country music community.
“How is this happening? How did people show up?” he wondered. “I don’t see why they buy a ticket to a Garth Brooks show, but it’s so cool that they do.”
Garth Brooks/Plus ONE launches May 18 at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in partnership with Caesars Entertainment and Live Nation.
The only way to access tickets is by registering to receive the Verified Fan Onsale or the Citi presale. Registration is open now through Thursday, May 25. Fans who are selected to receive a code will be able to access the Verified Fan Onsale starting Wednesday, May 31.
