“I keep trying to slow down a bit but you keep calling me back,” Strait joked.

George Strait and Chris Stapleton have been taking over stadiums around the country, breaking records and proving their musical icon status. Due to overwhelming demand across each show, the pair of country stars will be extending their time on the road together into 2025.
Five additional shows have been added to their touring schedule for the year. This run of one-off stadium appearances will welcome special guest Parker McCollum for stops in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Buffalo and Foxborough and Little Big Town for the only West Coast performance at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium.
Twelve years ago, the Texas native announced what was supposed to be the final tour of his career with the The Cowboy Rides Away Tour, but his passion for his career, along with the encouragement from fans, has kept him going year after year.
“I keep trying to slow down a bit but you keep calling me back. Please don’t ever stop. I still love it just as much as I always have,” shares Strait. “Thank you for an amazing year last year and I can’t wait to see you for a few more again this year. Chris will be back and glad to have Little Big Town with us in LA. For the other cities, we’ve added Parker M. to the show which will be outstanding. Can’t wait to see you!!”

Last year, George Strait cemented his reign as the King of Country when he set a record for the largest single ticketed concert in U.S. History and a new record for Texas A&M Kyle Field for a single event with 110,905 fans in attendance for George Strait: The King at Kyle Field. The record-breaking performance served as one of just 10 live shows Strait played throughout 2024, including a stop at Allegiant Stadium for his 37th Strait to Vegas show.

Fans who were lucky enough to snag a ticket to one of Strait’s shows in the past year likely got to experience the live renditions of songs off his 27th No. 1 Billboard Country album, Cowboys And Dreamers. The project, which followed 2019’s Honky Tonk Time Machine, features 13 new songs, including “Three Drinks Behind,” “MIA Down in MIA,” “The Little Things,” “Honky Tonk Hall Of Fame” featuring Chris Stapleton and Strait’s rendition of Waylon Jennings’ “Waymore’s Blues.”
