Along with the announcement, Hallie took to her Instagram stories to answer a few questions from fans about the pregnancy. She revealed she first found out about the pregnancy the night of her sister’s baby shower and admitted she has since faced challenges balancing motherhood while being pregnant.

“Currently struggling but fighting through! Lots of 🤮I feel the EXACT same way I did when I was pregnant with major but way more tired prob bc I have a toddler this time around😅”

When asked about the age gap between their son and the new baby, she revealed the two will be close in age.

Major, whose full name is Major Yancey Tyler McCollum, was born on Thursday, August 8, 2024. The Texas-born country star and his wife introduced their adorable newborn to fans on social media the day after his birth. At the time they shared his full name and birth date alongside a few adorable family photos from the hospital, their arrival at home, and even a photo with their dog, Ruger.

McCollum commented on the joint point, writing, “Mom & Dad forever! I love you Hallie Ray and I love our Major Man!”

With their second son’s birthday set for this summer, Hallie explained, “we will have two under 2 for only a couple weeks so 2 years!”

She also noted that there are some nerves that come with being parents of two, but also a lot of excitement surrounding this chapter especially when it comes to watching Major step into his role as a big brother.

“Beyond excited to give major a brother! Although it may be a transition for him, it will be the best thing that has ever happened to him! Thinking about them running around together makes me 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹.”

Parker McCollum closed out the year with this news, as well as a sold-out performance at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX on December 31. Reflecting on the year ahead, he admits he’s “ready to kick a** in 2026.”

He is scheduled to continue his headline tour into the new year with shows set to take place through late September. On top of his highly anticipated tour dates, the “What Kinda Man” singer also teased that fans can expect new music from him “very very soon.”
