HARDY and his wife Caleigh have made an extraordinary gift to the Mothers’ Milk Bank of Tennessee, donating $45,000 through the Hardy Fund of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. The grant will support the organization’s Compassionate Care Fund, which has been renamed the Rosie Fund in honor of their daughter, Rosie.

On March 7, 2025, the country star and his other half became parents to their first child, Rosie. In a recent post, Caleigh shared that their experience as donor milk recipients inspired them to give back. They wanted to do their part to ensure that families in need would never be denied access to donor milk because of financial barriers.
Working with the Milk Bank, the couple helped establish the Rosie Fund, which Caleigh goes on to explain is “here to ensure that families can continue to provide the life-changing nutrients that their most vulnerable ones deserve.”
With this grant, infants across Tennessee and neighboring states will have access to “safe, pasteurized donor human milk” for their babies.

Amy Painter, Executive Director of the Mothers’ Milk Bank of Tennessee, notes that donor milk for outpatient families is rarely fully covered by insurance in the state of Tennessee.
“Providing safe, pasteurized donor human milk to a medically vulnerable population involves significant costs, including donor screening, lab testing, pasteurization and microbiology testing,” she shared with Country Now.
“We are thrilled to rename the fund the Rosie Fund in honor of Michael and Caleigh Hardy’s daughter. Their support will directly offset those processing costs which will ease the burden on parents and ensure that access to donor human milk is never determined by a family’s ability to pay.”
The HARDY family’s gift will not only provides critical funding but also brings awareness to the organization’s mission to “save lives and improve health outcomes” for “medically fragile and vulnerable infants.”
“Having the support of HARDY and his wife, Caleigh is transformational to our organization and profound for the families that we serve. Their generosity brings both visibility and heart to our mission,” says Painter. “Their significant investment reflects a deeply personal understanding of why access to donor human milk is so important. We are honored to partner with a family that is using its platform to help protect the most vulnerable babies and support the parents who love them.”
The Mothers’ Milk Bank of Tennessee plays a vital role in infant healthcare as their efforts are necessary in protecting the infants from serious health complications with the hopes of also improving long-term outcomes.
“Our work ensures that human milk is available, safe and accessible when a baby needs lifesaving nutrition or a bridge when mom’s own milk is insufficient.”
