The Nashville community rallied in a powerful way last night as the American Cancer Society hosted its annual Country vs. Cancer benefit concert at The Pinnacle, raising more than $350,000 to support ACS programs and research.

According to ACS,  a new cancer diagnosis happens in the U.S. every 15 seconds. That reality brought thousands of country fans, donors, cancer survivors, and superstar acts and more together on Giving Tuesday to raise critical funds in an effort to fight the terrible disease.

Presented by The HARDY Fund and Whiskey Jam, the event was about far more than the music, it was a chance to spotlight the real experiences of those impacted by cancer.

Host Ward Guenther led the audience through a lineup that found HARDY, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Lanie Gardner, and McCoy Moore taking the stage throughout the night. In between the music, the show highlighted powerful stories from patients in treatment, survivors, caregivers, and advocates. These moments alone proved to the crowd why continued funding for research, support services, and patient resources remains critical.

“It was an honor to be part of Country vs. Cancer this year,” said HARDY. “Music brings people together, and we united for a great cause on Dec. 2. I’m so thankful I was able to be part of this event and help raise money for people who are battling cancer.”

“Nashville and the country music community showed up in an incredible way for cancer patients and their families on Giving Tuesday. Country vs. Cancer is a reminder that when we stand together, cancer doesn’t stand a chance,” said Shane Jacobson, CEO of the American Cancer Society. “We are deeply grateful to these artists and this community for helping us ensure that every life impacted by cancer has hope.”
