HARDY recalls the morning after a night of bad decisions that led to a breakup in his just-released song, “Boots.”

Co-written by HARDY alongside David Garcia and Hillary Lindsey, “Boots” showcases HARDY’s unique musical style while telling a relatable story.

“I’m so glad this song is out in the world,” HARDY shared in a statement. “‘Boots’ is a perfect representation of who I am as an artist. It’s a country lyric but it sounds like a rock and roll song.”

Throughout the song, HARDY acknowledges he’s to blame for the downfall of the relationship, so much so that he admits he was prepared to suffer the consequences.

“I woke up in my boots this morning/ Fell asleep in my boots last night/ Had a feeling that I’d run out of warnings/ Girl, I couldn’t have been more right,” he croons throughout the chorus while backed by electric guitars and heavy percussion.

Serving as HARDY’s first new music release of 2020, the song is already a fan-favorite as he’s been performing it during his live shows. The release of “Boots” comes as his current single, “One Beer,” featuring Lauren Alaina and Devin Dawson, continues its rise at country radio.

HARDY was set to embark on Thomas Rhett’s Center Point Road Tour this summer. The tour has shifted to a July start date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
