HARDY claimed the No.1 spot on both the Billboard and Mediabase Country Airplay charts this week with his latest single, “Truck Bed.”

This Marks HARDY’s Fourth No.1 Single

The rock-infused anthem is the Mississippi native’s fourth No.1 single, following his latest chart-topper “Wait in the Truck” with Lainey Wilson

“Truck Bed” was co-written by HARDY with Ben Johnson, Hunter Phelps and Ashley Gorley. The song finds HARDY waking up following a night of post-breakup binge-drinking.

“I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this morning/ With a bone dry bottle of Jack I was pouring/ Damn, she got some nerve, when she kicked me to the curb/ Guess you can say I got what I deserve/ ‘Cause I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this morning, yeah,” he sings.

Sonically, HARDY pushed the limits with “Truck Bed,” walking a fine line between country and rock as he’s become known to do.

The song is featured on his latest album, the mockingbird & THE CROW, which is comprised of half rock songs and half country songs.

“Truck Bed” Music Video

Last summer, HARDY teamed up with director Justin Clough to bring his vision for the music video to life. The clip was shot in Murfreesboro, Tenn. and features cameos from actor King Bach, Tennessee Titans player Taylor Lewan, and pro golfer John Daly.

The full-on rager recaps HARDY’s wild night, including a fire-blazing yard party with hundreds of guests. We just wanted it to be a good time…and it was,” HARDY previously stated. Click below to watch.

After hearing the news, the singer/songwriter took to social media to thank everyone involved with the song.

“Number one in all the land,” he wrote alongside his thank you to country radio.

Rock Album On The Horizon

HARDY recently unveiled two new tracks, “Rockstar” and “QUIT!!” and shared plans to soon release a full rock album. This is in addition to his work on the forthcoming HIXTAPE: Vol. 3: DIFFTAPE, which will be released this Friday, March 29 as a tribute to the late country legend, Joe Diffie.

This summer, fans can catch him headlining the QUIT!! Tour with support from Kip Moore, Travis Denning, Ella Langley, and Stephen Wilson Jr. on various dates.

Additionally, HARDY will perform at a number of major festivals, including Stagecoach, CMA Fest, Country Thunder Bristol, Country Concert, and more.
