Luke Combs just released his highly-anticipated new track, “Forever After All,” and it’s everything fans hoped it would be and more.

The tender love song was written in honor of his wife, Nicole, and is the third in a series of hits dedicated to his longtime love.

“1st came ‘Beautiful Crazy,’ then ‘Better Together,’ and now ‘Forever After All,’” he previously shared of the song.

“Forever After All” has the potential to be Combs’ biggest hit yet. The wedding-ready tune finds Combs professing his love for Nicole and admitting that while some things, like blue jeans and batteries, have a short shelf life, their love does not.

“They say nothing lasts forever/ But they ain’t seen us together/ Or the way the moonlight dances in your eyes/ Just a t-shirt in the kitchen/ With no make-up and a million/ Other things that I could look at my whole life/ A love like that makes a man have second thoughts/ Maybe some things last forever after all,” Combs sings on the chorus.

“Forever After All” is one of five new tracks on Combs’ just-released deluxe album, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get. The album is an expansion upon the superstar’s 2019 album, What You See Is What You Get, and also includes tracks such as “Cold As You” and “My Kinda Folk.”
