Country music’s all-vocal group Home Free pays tribute to some of their greatest influences from past to present in the brand new music video for their latest single “Dreamer.” The song is an original tune that encourages others to stick to their true calling.
Shot and directed by Bolo Brothers Creative, the inspirational clip opens up with a touching Ronnie Milsap quote about the Grand Ole Opry. From there, historic footage of country legends, including Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton (just to name a few) are featured performing inside the famous Grand Ole Opry circle that has brought together so many passionate artists over the years. At the end of the clip, Home Free, comprised of Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust and Adam Chance, is shown waving to a massive audience on the same stage as their predecessors.
“Every single person who has stepped foot on the Grand Ole Opry stage over the years was a dreamer, us included,” Brown, the band’s high tenor, said in a statement. “You don’t get to that stage without being one.”
“There’s just something about performing there, knowing you’re standing in the same spot as the people who pioneered the Country genre, that always gives me chills. It’s incredible and will forever be one of our favorite places to perform,” he added.
Home Free made their Grand Ole Opry debut in July 2015, and have been invited back to perform numerous times since. Their most recent return took place on Tuesday, June 25. “Dreamer,” written by Dustin Christensen, Ross Ellis and Dan Fernandez, is the fourth single from Home Free’s upcoming fifth studio album, Dive Bar Saints, due out July 26 via Home Free Records.
In the fall, the band will head out on their massive Dive Bar Saints World Tour in promotion of their highly anticipated album. The trek begins September 18 in Fresno, California, and is currently scheduled to make stops in the U.S. as well as 14 additional countries.
