“Country Music’s Party Of The Year” – the 2023 ACM Awards – is upon us.
The 2023 ACM Awards will air live from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas on Thursday, May 11 at 7/6c exclusively on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch.
Co-hosted by country music icons Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton, the 58th Academy Of Country Music Awards will celebrate Country music’s biggest stars and emerging talent. The two-hour show will feature a slew of star-studded performances, exclusive collaborations, and unexpected moments that will captivate viewers worldwide.
The show will feature performances by Jason Aldean, Jordan Davis, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Dolly Parton, Jelly Roll, Ed Sheeran, HARDY, Keith Urban, The War And Treaty, Lainey Wilson, Bailey Zimmerman and more.
Nine awards will also be announced during the broadcast: Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Duo of the Group, Group of the Year, Album of the Year, Single of the Year, Song of the Year, and Music Event of the Year. Several winners were announced ahead of the show.
Produced by Dick Clark Productions with Raj Kapoor, Barry Adelman, and Fonda Anita serving as executive producers and Damon Whiteside serving as executive producer for the Academy of Country Music, the ACM Awards will stream live for a global audience across 240+ territories on Prime Video.
The Academy of Country Music Awards was established in 1966 and is the longest-running country music awards show. The event made history in 2022 as the first major awards show to exclusively livestream. This year, the show will return to Texas for the first time since the milestone 50th ACM Awards, which broke a Guinness World Record in 2015 for being the most-attended awards show with more than 70,000 attendees at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.

Who’s Hosting The 2023 ACM Awards?
Country music icons Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks are set to host the ACM Awards. The show will make history with its iconic host pairing and marks the first time Brooks will host an awards show. Parton previously hosted the ACM Awards in March of 2022 and May of 2000.
“I am thrilled to return to host the ACM Awards, this time with my friend Garth,” Parton shared. “While I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with him throughout the years, I can’t believe we’ve never had the chance to work together.”
“Anyone with Dolly Parton makes a fantastic couple,” Brooks added.

The 2023 ACM Awards will also include a star-studded list of collaborations and unforgettable moments. Reigning ACM Female Artist Of The Year Carly Pearce will team up with Trisha Yearwood to perform a special medley of in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Yearwood winning Female Artist Of The Year.
Meanwhile, Cole Swindell will join forces with Jo Dee Messina to deliver an epic performance of the “She Had Me At Heads Carolina” remix and Ashley McBryde will take fans to Lindeville with a performance of “Bonfire At Tina’s.”
Who Is Presenting?
Gabby Barrett, BRELAND, Brandy Clark, Jordan Davis, Mickey Guyton, Tyler Hubbard, Dustin Lynch, T.J. Osborne, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, MacKenzie Porter, Dak Prescott, Emmitt Smith, Tanya Tucker, Keith Urban and Trisha Yearwood are scheduled to present during the ceremony.
Who Is Nominated?
HARDY, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, Kane Brown, Cole Swindell, Morgan Wallen, and Chris Stapleton are among the top nominees.
HARDY leads the pack with seven nominations, including Song of the Year and Artist-Songwriter of the Year. He also shares three of his nominations with Lainey Wilson for their chart-climbing hit, “wait in the truck.” Lainey Wilson is the most-nominated female at this year’s awards show with six nods, including Female Artist of the Year. The Louisiana native is nominated in more categories than any other artist.
Miranda Lambert made history as she earned her record-breaking 17th Female Artist Of The Year nomination, surpassing Reba McEntire, who has 16 total Female Artist Of The Year nominations. Lambert received five nods this year.
Luke Combs, Kane Brown, and Cole Swindell follow close behind HARDY with the second-most nominations for a male artist, with five total nominations each.
Combs received a nomination in both the male Artist and Entertainer of the Year categories for the fourth consecutive year.
Kane Brown earned his first-ever nominations in the Entertainer Of The Year and Male Artist Of The Year categories. Kane and his wife Katelyn Brown receive three nominations together for their song “Thank God” in the Single, Music Event, and Visual Media of the Year categories. This marks Katelyn’s first nominations, and with an additional two solo nominations this year brings Kane’s total nominations to 14.
Cole Swindell receives first-time nominations in three categories including Single of the Year, Visual Media of the Year, and Music Event of the Year, in which he shares a nomination with his collaborator and fellow artist Jo Dee Messina who receives her first nomination in 22 years.
For the second time in ACM history, three albums released by all-female acts have been nominated for Album of the Year in the same year, with Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville by Ashley McBryde, Bell Bottom Country by Lainey Wilson, and Palomino by Miranda Lambert each receiving nominations.
