American Idol Season 20’s runner-up HunterGirl will help the city of Gatlinburg, Tennessee celebrate Independence Day.

The “Red Bird” singer will lead the 47th Annual Gatlinburg Fourth of July Midnight Parade as Grand Marshal. The parade will begin at 12:01 a.m., being the “First July Fourth Parade in the Nation” in downtown Gatlinburg.

The Idol alum said she is “excited and honored” to participate.

“I hope everyone can come out and celebrate The Fourth of July with us. Hope to see y’all there,” she said.

Since a young age, HunterHirl has been performing for crowds all around the nation and wowed viewers of American Idol with her incredible talents throughout the latest season.

Recently, the rising star performed at the 2022 CMA Festival in Nashville, TN. She played her latest release, “Red Bird” among others to the crowded audience. In the past, HunterGirl has opened for several big names in country music, such as Old Dominion, Sara Evans, Alan Jackson, and Florida Georgia Line. 

With powerhouse vocals and a talent for storytelling, the songbird appreciates and admires the bravery of veterans in many of her songs. She is currently working with music therapy organizations that work closely with veterans – including Freedom Sings USA, Operation Song, Soldier’s Child, and the Charlie Hazel Daniels Veteran Center. Her goal is to give soldiers who have retired stories through her songs.
