The Tour Comes In Support Of Aldean’s 11th Studio Album Of The Same Name
This news follows the unveiling of Aldean’s 11th studio album inspired by the same name, HIGHWAY DESPERADO. The 14-track project dropped November 3 and features the 3X ACM Entertainer of the Year winner’s breakthrough Hot 100 chart-topping single “Try That In A Small Town,” which recently became his 28th career No. 1 single at Country radio, as well as his newest radio single, “Let Your Boys Be Country.” Within the collection, fans also get to hear three tracks co-written by Jason Aldean, which marks the first time he’s done this since his 2009 Wide Open album. The first taste of the album came in May when Aldean showcased the fan-favorite, “Tough Crowd,” at this year’s ACM Awards.
Newest Music Video Features Jason Aldean’s Young Son And Daughter
Aldean’s current single “Let Your Boys Be Country” was most recently brought to life in a brand new music video featuring appearance by his son Memphis and youngest daughter, Navy. Co-written by Allison Veltz Cruz, Jaron Boyer, and Micah Wilshire, the small-town anthem celebrates the best of a rural upbringing and all the benefits of raising kids in an environment that praises a strong work ethic, good manners, and getting a little rowdy on a Friday night.
The just-released music video effortlessly captures this vision as viewers see the reigning ACM Artist of the Decade and his kids living out their days on backroads, hunting in the woods and tending to their land. Jason Aldean’s vocals evoke a deep sense of pride amid the true country sound that fans continue to fall in love with.
“Yeah, them cheeks, let ’em fall for a small town girl / Let everything inside these county lines be his whole world / You want him to grow up to be someone he’s damn proud to be / Mamas, let your boys be country,” he sings on the chorus.
HIGHWAY DESPERADO serves as a follow-up to Jason Aldean’s double album MACON, GEORGIA, which lead to Aldean notching his Aldean No. 1 single, “Trouble With A Heartbreak.” The project also spawned the Billboard Music Award nominated “Top Country Song” as well as his duet with Carrie Underwood, “If I Didn’t Love You,” which earned him multiple awards from ACM, CMT, iHeart, and a GRAMMY nomination.
