Scotty McCreery and his family are all smiles in a sweet new family photo shared by the country star and his wife following the Thanksgiving holiday.

The North Carolina native took a break from touring life to enjoy some well-deserved family time with his wife, Gabi, and 1-year-old son, Avery. The McCreery family documented the occasion with a family photo taken by a picturesque lakeshore lined with stunning golden and amber foliage.

They captioned the joint Instagram post, which was shared on Saturday, Nov. 25: “Thankful for our little turkey 🥰🧡.”

Fans were quick to compliment the family snapshot within the comments section as they boasted about the “beautiful family” and how fast little Avery is growing.

How old is Scotty McCreery’s Son Avery?

Merrick Avery turned 1 on October 24 and the family celebrated by throwing him a Toy Story-themed birthday bash. Scotty, Gabi, and Avery sported costumes for the occasion and the birthday boy had an adorable Toy Story smash cake with Toy Story characters Woody, Buzz, and Bullseye on top.

Ahead of his son’s first birthday party, McCreery dished on the event with Country Now and other media outlets, revealing “Everybody’s coming over dressed as a Toy Story character, and we’ve already got his outfit picked out.”

The idea to host a Toy Story party stemmed from Avery’s love for the movie.

“He really likes Toy Story, and I loved Toy Story growing up. I always kind of felt like I was Andy, you know, like we grew up at the same age,” the 30-year-old explained.

New Holiday Single Out Now

As his latest single, “Cab In A Solo,” continues to climb the charts at country radio (it’s currently sitting inside the Top 30 on the Mediabase Country Airplay chart), McCreery shared a brand new holiday single with fans. “Feel Like The Holidays” marks his first Christmas release in 11 years, following his 2012 Christmas With Scotty McCreery collection. This new track was penned by Bobby Hamrick, Derek George, Frank Rogers, Jeremy Bussey, and Monty Criswell and is out now.

“I love Christmas and Christmas music, so I’m thrilled to release ‘Feel Like the Holidays’ today,” McCreery said. “It’s got such a classic Christmas song vibe and puts you right in the mood for the holiday season. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we enjoyed recording it.”
