Jelly Roll got a new tattoo in honor of his wife, Bunnie XO, just weeks after their seventh anniversary.
In a clip shared by Bunnie XO on September 19, the current five-time CMA Awards nominee is seen getting a “tour tattoo” backstage.
New Tattoo
“Tat my name on ya if it’s real 😜,” she captioned the clip. “When he misses you so much he gets another Bunnie tattoo.”

The tattoo, which is situated on Jelly Roll’s right arm, features his wife’s logo, which also appears on the back of her pink tour bus that accompanies them on the road.
Meaningful Bond
The ink further solidifies their bond in a permanent and meaningful way and marks Jelly Roll’s second tattoo in honor of his wife.
While he may have recently acquired some new ink, Jelly Roll candidly confessed that he carries regrets about the “96%” of his tattoos. In a recent interview with Audacy Check In with Jason Bailey, he openly acknowledged, “How you think at 16 years old and how you think at 36 years old are so dramatically far apart from each other. It’s embarrassing.”
Nevertheless, amidst the sea of regrettable tattoos, Jelly Roll treasures a select few that hold deep personal meaning for him. These include tattoos bearing his children’s names, an emblem of a Bad Apple in tribute to his devoted fanbase, and another indelible mark on his skin that serves as a heartfelt homage to his beloved wife.
Vow Renewal
Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO recently returned to the Las Vegas chapel where they wed to renew their vows in an intimate ceremony. The couple took fans inside the Sin City based A Stained Glass Wedding Chapel, sharing photos and videos from their vow renewal. The snapshots shared to social media include a range of different moments from the memorable evening, including one showcasing her and Jelly Roll standing beneath a white arch with their hands entwined as they exchanged vows.
Alongside the photos, Bunnie penned a heartfelt caption that embodies the couple’s love story, which began with a serendipitous encounter in 2015.
“Who knew a chance encounter in 2015 would lead to our stars colliding a year later in the cutest, tiniest chapel in Vegas exchanging vows of forever when neither one of even knew what forever meant. I had no idea who you were yet my soul felt like I knew you for 10 lifetimes. ,” she began.
Recalled The Night They Met
Bunnie later recalled the night they first said “I do” and the promise that Jelly Roll made to her that night.
“Before we stumbled in that chapel, you grabbed my hands & looked me straight in the eyes & said, ‘Bunnie, our lives won’t always be like this. You won’t have to do what you do for much longer, we’re going to figure this out. I promise you.’ ”
She admitted that she had “no idea” what life would throw at them after their wedding day, but knew she could tackle anything as long as she had Jelly Roll by her side.
“These past 7 years have been a whirlwind dark fairytale,” Bunnie continued. “Nothing we have accomplished as lovers & friends was easy. We fought to become the people we are, to break the childhood traumas we were ‘blessed’ with & learn to love in a healthy way. To right all our wrongs & create a home to raise Bailee in that she can be proud of. No matter what life has thrown our way we walked thru the fire together, hand in hand w/ a smile.”
On Tour
The couple continues to enjoy life together. Bunnie XO has been by Jelly Roll’s side throughout his Backroad Baptism Tour, which has been playing to capacity crowds across the country since it kicked off on Friday, July 28. The trek runs through Saturday, October 14, when it will wrap up in Tampa, Florida at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre.
Ashley McBryde, Caitlynne Curtis, Chase Rice, Elle King, Merkules, Struggle Jennings, Three 6 Mafia, and Yelawolf will appear as special guests on select dates of the nearly sold-out tour.
Most recently Bunnie XO revealed that she had to cancel several meet and greets to be by her father’s side amid his ongoing battle with cancer.
