The singer, songwriter, author, and entrepreneur has joined the cast for season 31 of the show, airing on Disney+.

The mom of three will be dancing with DWTS pro Alan Bersten.

Decker took to social media to share her excitement over the announcement.

“Let’s do this!!!! So excited to be part of Dancing with the Stars season 31 🙈💃🏼😆 ahhhh I can’t stop smiling,” she wrote alongside a photo of her and Bersten.

Her post was flooded with congratulatory messages.

“Yessss girl!!!,” wrote Lindsay Ell, while Whitney Duncan shared, “You’re gonna do so great!! 👏”

Bersten also took to social media to express his enthusiasm for the upcoming season.

“Introducing my season 31 partner @jessiejamesdecker !!! I’m so excited. This is gonna be such an incredible season of @dancingwiththestars on @disneyplus,” he shared.

The full lineup of celebrity dancers was revealed on Thursday morning via Good Morning America and also includes TikTok star Charli D’Amelio and her mom, Heidi D’Amelio, actress Selma Blair, drag queen Shangela, comedian Wayne Brady, reality star Teresa Giudice, actress Cheryl Ladd, actor Daniel Durant, American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, reality star Vinny Guadagnino, Bachelorette star Gabby Windey, actor Jason Lewis, actor Trevor Donovan, Good Morning America contributor Sam Champion, and fitness model and son of Arnold Schwarzenegger Joseph Baena.

While appearing on GMA, Decker opened up about competing on the show and revealed that her children are big fans of the competition series.

“They do and they’re very excited,” Decker said. “They really are. They love the show and my daughter loves it. So, it was really cool to be able to do this and have them be a part of it too.”

When asked if she felt confident going into the upcoming season, Decker admitted that while she’s used to performing on stage, she has no experience with choreographed dancing.

“I perform and I entertain onstage, but I’ve never had professional dance lessons and so I have no idea what to expect. I just keep getting nervous that I’m going to forget the steps with mom brain and all, but I’m hoping for the best.”

Tyra Banks will return as a host alongside Alfonso Ribeiro.

Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough will make their return to the judges’ panel.

After 30 seasons on ABC, Dancing With The Stars will make its Disney+ debut on Monday, September 19 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT.

Jessie James Decker released her seven-track EP, The Woman I’ve Become, in 2021. The project features her single, “Should Have Known Better” and showcases her growth as an artist and songwriter.

“I have been waiting to figure out new music since 2017. I feel like it is the most vulnerable I have ever been before. So, I’m really excited for everyone to hear that side of my songwriting,” she told Country Now last year. “I have always written songs that were so true to myself in every scenario. From being in love or feeling like I wanted it to be super empowering to women.”
