Jessie and Eric have been together for over a decade. The couple began dating in 2011 after being introduced by mutual friends.

“He was in Arizona training, and I got a text from my girlfriend who said, ‘I’m having dinner with this guy I’m seeing, and this other guy just showed up, and he’s stunning,’” Jessie recalled in 2013.

They hit it off during their initial meeting and and ended up getting engaged in 2012.

Jessie and Eric tied the knot on June 22, 2013 in Colorado.

They are now parents to three children: Vivianne, 7, Eric, 6, and Forrest, 3.

During a 2019 appearance on the “Motherly” podcast, Jessie shared how becoming parents changed their relationship.

“It’s made it even stronger and made us even closer because you know — think about it,” she explained. “We created these people out of love together and now we’re raising three people that we have in common, not just biologically, but we have in common that we are so madly in love with these people that we created together.”

Jessie recently released her new EP, The Woman I’ve Become, and spoke openly with Country Now about Eric’s unwavering support for her career.

“He supports me just above and beyond,” she gushed. “I supported him during his NFL Career all seven years that I was with him. I was that NFL wife, and I did it 100 percent because I wanted to see him succeed. He was just killing it out there, and I was pregnant and was having babies. I felt like that’s where my priorities were. I knew once he retired, I’d be able to kick it back into gear.”

Now, with a tour on the horizon and her songs connecting with fans, Eric is by her side to support her in any way possible.

“I’ve definitely seen that after he retired, the flip was switched, and he has been all in with me. He sits on all of my meetings – at my touring meetings, he asks numbers and budgets… he really gets in the nitty-gritty. I mean, he is truly on my team. I just trust him with everything, and it is so good to have such an amazing support system,” she shared.

Jessie James Decker will embark on her The Woman I’ve Become Tour on Thursday, April 14.
