Jim Ranger Leaves Blake Shelton ‘Speechless’ With Cover Of Iconic Power Ballad

Team Blake’s Jim Ranger absolutely stunned with a performance of Badfinger’s iconic power ballad, “Without You” during The Voice semi-finals on Monday evening (Dec. 7).

Ranger’s flawless performance was well-received by all of the coaches, who each rose to their feet to give him a standing ovation.

“I was engrossed. I was moved,” John Legend shared, adding, “What a beautiful performance. I believe that was your best work since you’ve been on this show.”

Blake Shelton was equally impressed and admitted that his performance was a stand-out among all 19 seasons he’s been on the show.

“You just did it, dude. I mean I don’t know a better time to have that kind of performance,” Shelton gushed. “I’m just speechless right now. I gotta tell you man, I’m more impressed than maybe I’ve ever been as a coach on this show.”
