“Best Shot” singer Jimmie Allen and his fiancée Alexis Gale are expecting a baby girl!
Allen and Gale stepped out for a date night at Sunday evening’s SESAC Awards in Nashville where Gale had her baby bump on display in a form-fitting velvet dress. The soon-to-be father of two later shared the news on Instagram with a video that showcased the couple’s gender reveal.
In the clip, which was captured at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Allen is seen popping a black balloon with pink powder inside. The couple is all smiles as their family covers them in pink silly string to celebrate. The video ends with a shot of an ultrasound photo with a text overlay that reads, “We’re having a girl.”

Jimmie Allen, who is a big fan of Disney World, asked for Gale’s hand in marriage while visiting the popular tourist destination over the summer. At the time, he had been to Disney World 49 times, so it’s no surprise that the couple chose to celebrate this special moment there as well.
Allen and Gale are from the same hometown and met earlier this year through Allen’s cousin’s wife. They began dating in the spring.
“With Alexis being from my hometown, it is like always having a piece of home with me. We had an immediate connection,” the singer previously shared with People. “It was like we’d always known each other.”
The couple’s daughter will join big brother Aadyn, Allen’s son from a previous relationship.
