It’s official – Jimmie Allen’s Dancing with the Stars journey has come to an end.

The CMA New Artist of the Year nominee and seasoned professional Emma Slater delivered an electric Cha Cha to living legend Janet Jackson’s “Escapade,” a track from Jackson’s fourth album, Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814 (1989), on Season 30 of DWTS

Allen and Slater were two of the eight final contestants that took the stage for the Janet Jackson Night Double Elimination on the hit ABC competition series. Allen and Slater fell short in the judge’s opinions, receiving a 32 out of 40 for their performance. The pair then went on to dance the Salsa to Jackson’s “Made for Now (Latin Version)” for their second performance of the night in a dance off against Olympian Suni Lee.

Unfortunately, at the end of the night, Allen was eliminated, along with beauty influencer Olivia Jade Giannulli.

Although Allen had a great time on the show, he wasn’t too upset about getting sent home.

“I’m done dancing,” the country hitmaker shared with reporters, going on to say, “I love being in the ballroom, but I’m just glad I don’t have to dance anymore! I’m done! But I’m taking so much stuff I’ve learned from [Emma], some of the little moves, and throwing them in the shelf, but my main thing [is] I just want everybody who’s still on the show to have fun.”

While his time on the Dancing with the Stars stage has come to a close, his friendship with Slater, who he has coined “little Emma,” is far from over.

“I’ve definitely found a friend for life in Emma,” Allen explained before hitting the stage that night. “I think she’s a wonderful, wonderful person with a big heart.”
