Jimmie Allen earned his top scores of the Dancing With The Stars season so far on Tuesday evening when he took to the dancefloor alongside his partner, Emma Slater, for a jazz dance fans won’t soon forget.
The country singer kicked off the Disney Villians-themed show as members of his family watched from side stage.
“I love Disney, movies, theme parks, t-shirts, hats, anything Disney I’m all-in. Between Disney World and Disneyland, I’ve been about 80 times,” Allen gushed. “I proposed to my wife at Disney World. We had our baby reveal there. I feel like it’s the one place where people like leave all their nonsense outside and come here and just like escape.”
Allen and Slater opted to dress up as Captain Hook and Tinkerbell as Allen admitted he’s “always had an obsession with Captain Hook.”
“I want people to feel that Disney magic in the ballroom,” Slater said ahead of their performance.
“Disney Magic is a real thing, don’t believe me check the pixie dust,” Allen added.

Allen and Slater thoroughly impressed the judges and went on to earn high praise from the panel.
“I liked the concept, the story within the dance, Captain Hook fighting little Tinkerbell,” Len Goodman said. “I thought the lifts were right in character. You’re surprising me each week because your dancing is coming right on point, well done Jimmie.”

“Hey Jimmie, dude, I’m so impressed with you my man,” Derek Hough added. “When that side-by-side kicked in you said let’s go… It had so much umph and energy. Dude, some people transform on this show, and you are definitely one of those people. I’m loving seeing your progress man.”
Bruno Tonioli came in with the compliment of the night: “Jimmie, you got me hooked.”
“That was a badass Jazz routine,” he went on to share. “You gave it your own style, you were totally in character, you never dropped it. That was your strongest performance to date.”
“Jimmie, Jimmie, Jimmie, Jam! Disney is totally your jam, I mean, I can tell how much you love it because it came through in both of your dances,” Carrie Ann Inaba exclaimed. “That was amazing! That’s all I’m going to say.”
Allen earned his highest score of the season so far with three 9’s and an 8, totaling 35/40.
His overall score for both Disney nights totaled 67/80.
“This is my first 9’s and I found out my wife is 2 centimeters [dilated],” Allen said. “So it’s a good night.”
