Jimmie Allen’s newborn daughter, Zara James, was rushed to the hospital after she lost color and completely stopped breathing.

The GRAMMY nominee took to social media on Tuesday evening (Nov. 23) to put the “lazy doctors” who sent the 5-week-old home on blast.

“Attention Doctors , if the parent of your one month old patient tells you the child having a hard time breathing and the only thing your lazy self wants to do is check heart heart and temperature find another career. Your job is to save lives so do it,” he wrote

“Now thanks to the lazy doctors at a hospital in TN that just sent our daughter home, our daughter Zara lost color stopped breathing and is being rushed to another hospital,” Allen continued. “Thanks to the amazing EMT team that brought back Zara’s color she can breath again. Gonna be a rough night.”

Allen‘s posts come just one day after his wife, Alexis, shared that Zara, as well as their 1-year-old, Naomi, were both sick.

“Two sick babies,” Alexis shared on Instagram stories. “One exhausted mama.”

Alexis later revealed that they had been turned away when she attempted to seek medical help on Monday.

“Turned away by hospital yesterday AM Ambulance at 2AM. Basically, if your child isn’t blue at the lips, they will not have answers for you. That’s been my last 24 hours,” she revealed.

Alexis has been holding down the household this week as Allen was in Los Angeles for Monday’s Dancing with the Stars finale. The “Freedom Was A Highway” singer is currently in New York City where he appeared on Good Morning America on Tuesday and is preparing for a performance on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Jimmie and Alexis officially tied the knot in late May 2021 during an intimate ceremony in Allen’s home state of Delaware. Their wedding ceremony was a star-studded affair with special guests including Chuck Wicks and his wife, Kasi, Darius Rucker, and Tyler Rich and his wife, Sabina.

Months later, Jimmie and Alexis revealed that they secretly wed the year before on the singer/songwriter’s birthday: June 18, 2020.
