Rascal Flatts’ Joe Don Rooney and his wife Tiffany Fallon have the sweetest love story and they have Rooney’s bandmate, Jay DeMarcus, to thank since he’s the one who introduced them.

“His girlfriend at the time, now wife, Allison, knew Tiffany from her beauty pageant days when Tif was Miss Georgia USA in 2001,” Rooney once shared with OK! Magazine.

Prior to their first meeting, the singer spotted his future wife in Toby Keith’s “Who’s Your Daddy” music video. When the opportunity to meet her arose, Rooney jumped at the chance.

“Jay called me one night in April 2003 and said Allison and Tiffany were in town,” the singer recalled. “I was like, ‘Yeah! I’d love to meet her!’”

They clicked instantly and have been “attached at the hip ever since,” according to Fallon.

Rooney and Fallon have been supportive of each other’s careers from the start. A few months after they started dating, Fallon got the chance of a lifetime and it was Rooney who encouraged her to pursue it.

“I told him I had an opportunity to pose for Playboy, and there was silence on the other end,” the model told OK! with a laugh.

“I don’t want her 20 years from now kicking herself in the butt wishing she’d tried,” Rooney explained. “She went for it. That’s what I love about her — she’s not afraid to challenge herself.”

The couple wed on April 23, 2006 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Their family began to grow, first with dogs, then with children. Their first child, Jagger Donovan, arrived in 2008, Raquel Blue followed in 2010 and Devon Olivia joined the family in 2014.

“I always felt in my soul I was going to have children,” the proud dad told Fatherly in 2017.

The Oklahoma native went on to explain how he and Fallon manage to continue their careers while raising three kids, saying, “It’s all that b-word: Balance.”

For the couple’s 10-year anniversary in 2016, Rooney surprised Fallon with a vow renewal while on a trip to Paris. She documented it on Instagram, revealing that Rooney pulled out all the stops and even surprised her with a beautiful bouquet for the occasion.
