Jon Langston recently released the ultimate breakup song and this week, he’s taking over our playlist with a group of “getting over you” songs guaranteed to mend any broken heart.
Out now, “Happy Ever After” was co-written by Langston alongside Blake Bollinger and Brent Anderson. The song was inspired by a past relationship and finds Langston ready to move on after a bad breakup.
In honor of his new song, Langston hand-picked some of his favorite breakup songs to include in his playlist takeover. From country favorites like Cole Swindell’s “Ain’t Worth the Whiskey” to HARDY’s “Boots,” to empowering pop anthems like Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone” and Demi Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry,” Langston’s playlist includes something for everyone.
