Jon Pardi brought his chart-topping hit “Heartache Medication” to NBC’s TODAY show, serving up a dose of toe-tapping country music for viewers on a Monday morning.
The country hitmaker recorded a special performance of the track alongside his band just for TODAY.
“Heartache Medication” is title track off Pardi’s latest album, which garnered massive critical acclaim upon its September 2019 release. The album was praised for its traditional country sound and found critics and fans applauding the California native for once again keeping it country.
Heartache Medication is currently nominated for Album of the Year at the upcoming ACM Awards. After being postponed due to the coronavirus, the show is now set to take place in Nashville on September 16. This marks the first time the ACM Awards will have taken place in Music City.
