Jon Pardi just debuted the music video for his latest single, “Ain’t Always The Cowboy.”

The Carlos Ruiz-directed clip highlights Pardi’s love of the West and barrel racing. The storyline brings the song’s message to life, highlighting a couple whose relationship seems to be on the rocks. At the end of the clip, the woman in the relationship is seen packing up her things, including her horse, and bidding farewell to her lover.

Already in the Top 30 at country radio, “Ain’t Always The Cowboy” was an instant fan-favorite from the superstar’s Heartache Medication album.

“I feel like the topic of the song hasn’t been written about in this way, and I love songs that approach things differently and offer fresh perspectives,” Pardi previously shared.

“Ain’t Always The Cowboy” was written by Josh Thompson alongside Brandon Kinney and is the follow-up to Pardi’s latest chart-topper, “Heartache Medication.”
