What a wonderful week it’s been for Jon Pardi. The country star released an incredible album with Heartache Medication, he headlined two sold-out shows at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium AND he got engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Summer Fawn Duncan.
During his second headlining show at the Mother Church of Country Music, the California native asked Duncan to join him on the stage, got down on one knee and proposed to her. With thousands of fans looking on, Duncan said YES.
In a video shared to Instagram, Pardi and his bride-to-be can be seen hugging and kissing as the crowd cheers them on.

Pardi’s longtime tourmate, Dierks Bentley, was watching the show from the side of the stage and captured a few photos of the engagement. Sharing them on Instagram, Bentley wrote, “My man! @jonpardipics crushing the @theryman stage and crushing life… so proud of you pal. Killer show with my all time fav encore. Congrats to you and @summerfawn_duncan ?”
Pardi and Duncan met several years ago after his mom decided to set them up. Knowing she would be a good fit for her son, Pardi’s mom connected Duncan with her son. She eventually flew out to meet Pardi at one of his shows in Denver.
“So she flew out to the most romantic place you can ever fly a girl out to: the Grizzly Rose,” Pardi previously joked during an interview with People. “It’s this super honky-tonk, one of my favorite bars.”
They’ve been together ever since. Duncan, a hairstylist, often joins Pardi on the road. She even appeared in his “Heartache Medication” music video, which was released earlier this year.
