Jon Pardi is taking more time to recover after revealing that he is still battling a “deep chest infection,” forcing him to postpone three more upcoming shows.
He announced the unfortunate news to fans on Wednesday, Oct. 7, sharing that he was disappointed to miss this weekend’s upcoming performances, but that he needs additional time to focus on getting better.
“I hate to do this, but unfortunately I’m still sick with a deep chest infection and we have to postpone our shows this weekend. I was looking forward to getting out there with y’all and appreciate everyone’s understanding while I take some time to get better,” he wrote in the statement.

The California native was originally scheduled to bring his Gamblin’ Man Tour to Loveland, CO on Oct. 8, West Valley City, UT on Oct. 9 and Napa, I’d on Oct. 10. Each of these concerts have already been rescheduled for the following dates in 2027:
Nampa, ID — May 8
Loveland, CO — May 13
West Valley City, UT — May 20
All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates, and refunds will be available at the original point of purchase.
“Sorry to miss y’all this weekend. I’ll see you in May,” Pardi added.
The news comes almost a week after Pardi shared that he would be postponing this past weekend’s shows in Macon, GA, and Biloxi, MS, as he was too sick to take the stage.
He performed in Wilmington, North Carolina, on Thursday night but admitted he was barely able to make it through it, signaling that he needed to take a step back.
“I gave it all I had last night and I want to be 100% for everybody. So I apologize. I know you probably got hotels, babysitters, and I want to get the news out as soon as possible to not have you guys drive everywhere.”
Apologizing once again, Pardi reiterated how he did not want to take the stage while “struggling, sick, coughing up music and blowing my nose.” He added that it’s been “tough” trying to overcome the sickness while pushing through on the road.
“I appreciate all of you and thanks for understanding. And like I said, we’re working on getting rescheduled dates, so hold on your tickets…We’re going to get emails out and just hold onto everything. I’m coming back. It ain’t canceled, we’re just rescheduled because I don’t want to be up there not feeling well. So I appreciate it once again and stay tuned. I’ll keep you informed all day. Thank you,” Pardi said concluding his message.
The Gamblin’ Man Tour launched on September 17 and is slated to continue through November 14, with the final show of the originally scheduled dates taking place in Independence, MO.
