Riley Green is adding his name to the list of country stars with their own establishments around Music City. His business venture comes in the form of a new bar opening in Nashville’s Midtown, a popular spot for locals and tourists to get their fill of Music City, without the hustle and bustle of the famous Broadway strip in the downtown area.

According to The Nashville Business Journal, “Riley Green’s Duck Blind” is currently being built at 1913 Division St, Nashville, TN, placing it right next to the famed Loser’s Bar and Grill. This location was previously home to Loser’s adjacent bar, Winners, both of which were owned by George Strait’s late manager and friend, Erv Woolsey, who passed away at 80 years old on March 20, 2024.

“Friend, family, and legend. We didn’t just lose a good one, we lost the best one. Raise a glass and cheers to you, Erv. Hope you’re sippin’ on cutty up there🕊️,” Losers wrote on Instagram at the time.

Winners was said to have been “undergoing a makeover” when it was demolished earlier this year with plans to reopen in the fall. However, we now know that instead of Winners getting a renovation, Riley Green will be taking over the land with a whole new establishment.

A post shared on the bar’s official Instagram in March read, “Out with the old, in with the new! Our beloved bar is undergoing a makeover, but fear not, the party’s still on next door @losersoriginal 🤩 Stay tuned for the grand reveal this Fall.”

While it has yet to be confirmed when Riley Green’s Duck Blind will officially open, it’s evident that it will reflect his life as an avid outdoorsman. The name stems from the camouflaged shelter that is often used to conceal duck hunters. As an Alabama native, Green has made his passion for the sport of duck hunting widely known, to the point where he has even dubbed himself “Riley Duckman” in his Instagram handle.

Once built, the “Worst Way” singer’s business will neighbor Old Dominion’s own Nashville hangout, Odie’s, which sits just a few doors down at 1919 Division Street, the former home to the ReBar.

Both establishments will live a short distance away from Lower Broadway, where many of their fellow country artists have opened their own bars and restaurants. The most recent music icons to put their stamp on Music City with multi-level structures include Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Jon Bon Jovi, Garth Brooks and Eric Church. Other artists include Miranda lambert, Jason Aldean, Alan Jackson, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley, Hank Williams Jr., Jon Rich, and Kid Rock.

Keep an eye out for any future updates on Riley Green’s Duck Blind’s official Instagram account.
