Wynonna Judd is extending The Judds: The Final Tour into 2023.
The country music icon made the announcement on Monday morning (Oct. 24) during an appearance on NBC’s TODAY Show. The tour was extended due to the overwhelming demand for tickets.
The upcoming trek kicks off on January 26 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and runs through February 25 in Hollywood, Florida. The newly added dates follow the current run, which has featured Wynonna singing alongside artists such as Ashley McBryde, Brandi Carlile, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town, and Martina McBride, all of who will be returning for the just-announced second leg.
“I have never felt so overwhelmed by this much love and support!,” says Wynonna. “The emotions that flow while listening to the different generations of fans sing back to me each night has been other-worldly.”
With additional special guests to be announced in the coming weeks, Wynonna says she is grateful to those who have joined her on the tour so far.
“I am so humbled by every artist that has come to sing with me on this tour. They’ve all managed to bring something so unique to The Judds music and I can say that no two shows are the same. It has been so life-giving!”
The Judds: The Final Tour kicked off on September 30 and serves as a tribute to the legacy of The Judds and the late Naomi Judd. The show includes several special moments in honor of Naomi, including a chilling performance of “Love Can Build A Bridge” that features historical footage of Naomi on the giant screen behind Wynonna. A recording of Naomi’s voice can be heard alongside Wynonna as they appear to sing the song together once again.
After seeing the tour come to life, Wynonna says extending the tour was an easy choice.
“The decision to add 15 more shows was a no-brainer for me. The fans have been such a gift during my time of grieving and honoring my mother in song,” she shared. “What an amazing season this is. I look so forward to continuing the celebration of the music that has changed my life forever.”
She added, “In my 39 years of performing, these shows have truly been some of my absolute favorite experiences ever and I look forward to making new memories with the fans and guest artists in 2023.”

In addition to announcing the newly added dates of The Judds: The Final Tour, Wynonna sat down with TODAY host Hoda Kotb and discussed how she’s coping the loss of her mother.
“I’m somewhere between hell and hallelujah,” she told Kotb.
“And these shows are healing me, one show at a time. And all my friends are coming and it’s like the greatest party you throw yourself before the end. I feel like I’m doing a victory lap and the fans are watching me and they’re for me because they grew up with me.”
