Justin Moore has been performing for more than 15 years yet he experienced a first on stage over the weekend when he split his pants open while performing in Melbourne, Florida.

The “Small Town USA” singer was performing “Theme from The Dukes of Hazzard (Good Ol’ Boys)” by Waylon Jennings when he dropped down to the stage in the middle of the song. At that point, he could be seen grabbing his rear end as he made his way to the back of the stage and eventually exited via stage right.

After reappearing with a new pair of jeans, the singer made light of the situation when he addressed what happened in front of a packed crowd at the King Center.

Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction

“Dad gum near two decades worth of playing music on stage,” Moore said when he returned to the mic while holding his ripped trousers.

As the crowd cheered him on, the 39-year-old added, “That is a first right there. I’m sorry for those of you who viewed something you did not want to see…I heard and felt a pop and I knew it was bad.”

After showing off the large hole to the audience, Moore laughed, “I did not know it was this bad.”

He Gave His Ripped Jeans To A Fan

“I went back to this microphone back here where we can talk to each other and I go, ‘I just split my pants.’” He revealed that his band and crew initially thought he said he “s***” his pants and later had to clarify that his pants ripped.

“I did not poop my pants,” he clarified.

After thanking fans for hanging in there with him, the Arkansas native proceeded to autograph the ripped jeans for a lucky audience member to take home as a keepsake.

Moore handled the situation like a true professional and turned the unexpected wardrobe malfunction into an opportunity to connect with his audience on a deeper level.

Recently Celebrated Several Chart-Topping Hits

The multi-platinum entertainer recently celebrated four years of chart-topping hits in Nashville where he celebrated the No.1 success of his songs “Why We Drink,” “We Didn’t Have Much,” “With a Woman You Love,” and “You, Me, And Whiskey” featuring Priscilla Block.

During the event, he took time to graciously thank the 10 Nashville songwriters who allowed him to record their songs as well as those who’ve supported him throughout his career.

“I’ve been so blessed to be around so many talented people. All the people on this stage, I look up to. Even if I’ve never had the chance to meet you yet or tell you that, I promise I do. [I look up to] all of you guys that I’ve written with and been lucky enough to learn from all these years,” he said, according to Music Row. “I sound like a broken record but when you grow up how I did and where I did… This just does not happen to people. At least you think that until it happens to you. It’s because of great people who have cared about my career, my success and my family as much or more than myself at times. I’m thankful for all of you.”

How Many No.1s Does Justin Moore Have?

You, Me, & Whiskey Tour

Priscilla Block wrapped her time on the tour over the weekend and bid farewell to the trek in a heartfelt social media post thanking Moore for taking her along for the ride. She commemorated the run by gifting her duet partner and tour mate with a custom neon safety vest. The pair sported their matching vests on stage when performing their chart-topping duet on the final night of the tour.

“The ‘You Me & Whiskey Tour’ 2023. Thank you @justincolemoore and the whole dang crew for being so good to us. Y’all are family forever 💙,” Block wrote alongside photos from the final night of the tour.

The artists formed a bond after recording the smoldering duet, “You, Me, And Whiskey” together. They released the track to country radio and later brought it to life through a steamy music video.

It’s safe to say her final night on the tour was a memorable one.
