Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn Brown captured the hearts of fans everywhere when they released their chart-topping duet – “Thank God.” Since bringing the tune to life on stages across the country together, fans have been craving more from the couple, and according to Brown, they are well on their way to fulfilling that request.
Will Kane Brown Release More Duets With His Wife?
During a recent interview with Audacy’s Rob + Holly, the “Like I Love Country Music” singer revealed he and his wife have already recorded three more duets that could once again find them on the charts.
“If you count, ‘Thank God,’ we have four songs together now,” he admitted. “We don’t know exactly what we’re going to do with them, but every one that I listen to — it’s a smash.”
New Album In The Works
With his next full-length project also currently in the works, Brown says he’s unsure which of the collaborative tunes will make the cut, if any.
He continued, “We could work on an album, we could put the songs on this album. If we put all the songs on this album though, it’s going to be a big album.”
Written by Josh Hoge, Jaxson Free, Kyle Fishman, Christian Davis, and Jared Mullins, “Thank God” was released as part of Brown’s latest album, Different Man. The romantic duet immediately resonated with fans who couldn’t get enough of the loving lyrics that find the couple professing their appreciation and commitment towards one another.
Third Child On The Way
The pair are especially celebrating the life they built together as they prepare to welcome their third child. On December 25, they announced they were expecting another baby with an adorable family photo featuring their two daughters, Kingsley Rose, 4, and Kodi Jane, 2.
Shortly after, they revealed that their next child will be a baby boy whose name will likely continue their family tradition of having the initials KB.
He went on to tell the outlet that they were not expecting to have a third baby, but that it was “God’s plan” for their family. Now, their family is officially complete.
“This one, I was like ’There’s no way it’s not a boy, it’s gotta be a boy!’ Turns out it’s a boy,” he shared with enthusiasm.
In the midst of gearing up to welcome the newest member of the Brown family, the country singer is also working on building out his next album. Fans have already got a taste of the forthcoming collection through his current single, “I Can Feel It.”
With the remaining tracks, Kane Brown says fans can expect him to take his creative liberties in a “way different” direction than he’s gone in the past.
His New Album Will Be “Way Different”
“This album is going to be way different, that’s what I like about it,” he shared. “Any song that I have on the album is going to sound completely different than anything on the radio right now. I’m really pumped for it.”
With this new path in mind, he revealed that he’s unsure if his next single will fit the qualifications to make it on country radio, but he’s still hopeful to hear it on the airwaves.
“Hopefully, my next single — I don’t know if they’re going to allow me to bring this next single or not, but they should — it’s called ‘Fiddle in the Band,’” Kane shared before making note of the title’s connection to Alabama’s “If You’re Gonna Play In Texas (You Gotta Have a Fiddle in the Band).”
He continued, “It’s almost like, ‘If You want to play in Texas, you gotta have a fiddle in the band,’ but it sounds nothing like that, sings nothing like that, lyrics nothing like that, but it’s my version.”
Brown boasted that the new single will serve as a “great follow-up” to “I Can Feel It” as it “sounds even bigger.”
Kane Brown will kick off his 31-date headline tour of the same name on March 28 at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia.
