Kane Brown – TODAY SHOW 1
Kane Brown made an appearance on NBC’s TODAY Show with Hoda & Jenna on Thursday (Aug. 27).
The superstar offered a virtual performance of his unifying anthem, “Worldwide Beautiful.” Brown reunited with his band for the socially distanced performance, which took place outside in a lush wooded area.
The song was released in early June amid the height of the social unrest following the death of George Floyd. The emotional lyrics share a message of hope about the racial divide and find Brown referencing Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech.
“Still got some work but we still got a dream,” Brown sings on the emotional tune.
All of the proceeds from the song benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, a charity that Brown has supported throughout his career.
Brown recently revealed plans to release a music video for the song and shared that his 10-month-old daughter, Kingsley Rose, is preparing to make her small screen debut in the clip.
“Worldwide Beautiful” is featured on Brown’s just-released EP, Mixtape Vol. 1.
