Remember When Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen Covered Each Other’s Songs?

In March of 2019, Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen delighted their fans by covering each other’s songs.

The two friends took to Instagram to hint at a big announcement by sharing acoustic covers. Later, they revealed that Wallen would be joining Combs on his Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour in the Fall of 2019.

The superstars showcased their support for each other by giving their own spin on each other’s songs and fans loved it.

Although these acoustic versions are a bit different than the originals, the clips gave Combs and Wallen a chance to really shine. Their voices came through in these stripped-down performances and let fans see their individual artistic styles.

The emotion of “She Got the Best of Me” really came through in Wallen’s performance and Combs’ rendition of  “The Way I Talk” highlighted the fun creative lyrics of the song. More than three million people have watched the videos of these covers on YouTube suggesting fans loved the collaborations. Hopefully, music lovers will be treated to more covers like these in the future.
