Kane Brown was forced to cut his sold-out Fenway Park concert a bit short due to a fire that broke out in the scaffolding in the middle of the show.
According to a port for WHDH, the concert stopped for about 10 minutes to allow time for Brown’s crew to extinguish the flames.
After his concert, which was his second sell-out at Fenway Park, the country superstar took to Instagram Stories to apologize for the sudden end of the show.

“Because of the fire tonight, we got rushed and cut 2 songs. I’m so sorry,” he wrote. “I love you Boston and had so much fun tonight.”
He also reposted a video of the fire in the scaffolding.
Brown refelted on the milestone sold-out show on Instagram with a heartfelt post. Alongside a photo of him inside the iconic ballpark, Brown wrote, “I just wanted to let everyone know I’m so happy!!!! I have my ups and downs and recently I’m just genuinely happy ❤️ I love everybody for coming out tonight in Boston and showing out! Thank you to my whole team and the awesome artist who are my family. Mr @jonpardi , Mrs queen @raelynnofficial and my brothers from another mother the @locash boys!!! God bless yall and everyone who has been and become my friend! Too many more!!!! 🙏🏽”
Fans were quick to react in the comments section.
“You killed it tonight ❤️. You were on fire LITERALLY lol. Glad it was a small fire and nobody was hurt and the show could go on,” one fan wrote.
Another shared, “YOU WERE ON FIREEEEE TONIGHT!! quite literally! lol but i had so much fun 🤩.”
Aside from the fire, the show included several memorable moments, including a special appearance from Kane’s wife, Katelyn, who returned to the stage this week for the first time since welcoming their son, Krewe Allen, last month.

Prior to his performance at the home of the Boston Red Sox, Kane appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America where he opened up about Katelyn joining him on the road for the weekend.
“We’ve had some off time. While [Katelyn] was pregnant, I’d fly in and fly straight back. Luckily her mom’s in the house right now with all three of [the kids] and Katelyn’s on the road with me. It’s her first time leaving the house,” the American Music Award winner told GMA.
Brown’s Fenway Park concert was part of his massive In The Air Tour, which is set to run through September 14 with a show at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The trek is his biggest and best to date, featuring state-of-the-art production and a career-spanning set list that brings his hits to life.
Kane Brown will be able to enjoy some time at home with family before his return to the road, which is set for August 2 when he’s slated to play at The Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach, Alabama.
In addition to spending the majority of the year on the road, the 30-year-old is also hard at work on his highly anticipated new album. He’s recently shared a few posts from the studio, so while no release date has been set, it appears he’s working hard to complete the project.
