Kelsea Ballerini is experiencing one of the most incredible weeks of her life and career. Last Friday, she released her new album, PATTERNS, then on Tuesday, performed a sold-out show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, and the next night, she joined The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for an interview and performance.
Ballerini’s Madison Square Garden concert was unforgettable, with fans passionately singing along to every song from her newly-released album. The career-spanning set featured all 15 tracks from Patterns and took fans back to the start of her journey with hits like “Love Me Like You Mean It,” “Peter Pan,” and “Miss Me More.”
The production was unparalleled, showcasing multiple outfit changes, pyrotechnics, a stage lift, and more, delivering a performance unlike anything she’s done before.
The CMA Female Vocalist of the Year nominee revisited her unforgettable MSG show during her appearance on Fallon, where she reflected on both the concert and making her way to the most iconic arena in the country after playing other venues around the city.
“I’m so unwell. I really am. I’ve been touring for like 10 years now, and nine and a half years ago I played the Gramercy Theater and then I played the Irving Plaza. And then I opened at Jones Beach like four times. I opened….Barclays, I think twice. And then I played the PlayStation Theater, the Best Buy theater, I don’t what it is now. Then I played Radio City Music Hall and then…10 years later, we made it to the Garden.”
Ballerini admitted it was “One of the best nights of my life.”
Ballerini later performed “Patterns,” the title track from her new album, bringing the album cover to life with a setup of stacked suitcases surrounding her on stage.
Early next year, the East Tennessee native will launch the biggest tour of her career so far – her first-ever arena tour. Kicking off on January 21, the trek will visit major cities around the country, including Chicago, Nashville, Philadelphia, Boston, and more.
This week, six additional dates were added to the tour due to demand.
