Kelsea Ballerini has set her intentions for the new year with a list of “ins and outs,” giving fans a candid look at how she plans to prioritize joy, self-care, and growth, all while navigating her renewed romance with her boyfriend Chase Stokes.

Just a few days into 2026, the songstress shared her personal list to social media, documenting complete with everything she’s embracing and letting go of this year. She included more lighthearted goals like making an effort to challenge herself in fitness alongside her friends, making sure to share gratitude and celebrate the small moments, taking part in karaoke nights simply for the love of music, and much more.

As for the things she’s choosing not to bring into the new year, Ballerini is letting go of habits and mindsets that don’t serve her, from oversharing and being too hard on herself, to doomscrolling and overthinking the future. She’s also saying goodbye to saving cute outfits for special occasions, pretending she doesn’t need her glasses, leaving dishes in the sink, and more. The list, as a whole, offers a mix of practical changes and important boundaries that will hopefully set her up for more mindful living moving forward.

When it comes to oversharing, Kelsea Ballerini has already put this “out” into practice when she gave fans a short but sweet update on her relationship status. Over the past few years, her love life has been the subject of constant speculation, but especially in recent months, when rumors circulated that she and Outer Banks star Chase Stokes had called it quits.

The couple stayed relatively quiet about the chatter online, but back in September, a rep for Ballerini conformed to PEOPLE that they had broken up after nearly three years.

“They’re two adults who gave it their all and tried to do everything they could to make it work, but ultimately couldn’t. It happens,” a source told PEOPLE exclusively.

Fans were understandably surprised and upset to hear this news at the time, but it seems that the two of them have reconciled and will be continuing to grow and work on their relationship in 2026.

This was confirmed on New Year’s Eve when Stokes shared a 2025 wrap-up post that began with a series of photos of him and Ballerini enjoying a sunset vacation.

He wrote, “Something I’ve learned this year: don’t take advantage of the most beautiful things that in 33 years of life are fleeting. Take accountability, learn from mistakes. Lean into love and say it often. 2026 my year of growth, my year of truth. Starting here, starting now. Happy new years ❤️”

The “Patterns” singer offered fans further confirmation by reposting one of Stokes’ photos to her Instagram story, accompanied by a candid message of reflection and honesty. She acknowledged some of the biggest challenges of 2025, including moments when her personal life felt out of her control, and shared that moving forward, she plans to keep more of these details private. But before doing so, she made it clear that they are in fact back together.

“Messy year for the heart, messy year for the outside coming in, messy year for the way it became an out of our hands portrayal of it,” she wrote. “But what I’ll say, and all I really care to share indefinitely with my personal life anymore, is that I really love love. I believe in it, I believe in him, and I believe in breaking patterns.”

“Now go kiss your person and stop speculating,” she added at the end.

The couple has also re-followed each other on Instagram, signaling a fresh chapter together as they step into the new year.

The East Tennessee native is also looking ahead to an exciting year in her career. She gave fans a glimpse into the next chapter with the release of her six-song collection, Mount Pleasant, which includes the emotional track “I Sit in Parks.”

Plus, she closed out her year of touring with dates across Australia. Kelsea Ballerini has yet to announce a tour for 2026, and currently only has two dates scheduled across June.
