Kenny Chesney just debuted the music video for his latest single, “Here and Now.”
The Shaun Silva-directed clip features the superstar and his longtime touring band performing the anthemic tune in front of larger than life video screens displaying footage from various extreme sports. The video brings the song’s message about living in the moment to life.
“Even, or maybe especially, in times like these,” Chesney says, “we need to remember how blessed we are to be alive, and to make every second count. Wherever, however you are, look around, dig in, get engaged! Love the people you’re with, find something to smile about; be mindful, but be happy – and obviously take care of yourself and others.”

Already making its way into the Top 20 at country radio after just four weeks, “Here and Now” fits perfectly within the superstar’s wheelhouse and delivers a timely message.
“Lotta people dreaming ‘bout one day, some day/ Waiting just around the bend/ I used to be one Wondering when they’d come/ but now I’m living in,” Chesney sings in the bridge.
“Here and Now” is the latest single from Chesney’s much-anticipated new album of the same name. Dropping May 1, the album finds the eight-time Entertainer of the Year pushing some musical boundaries.
“When you’re this far into a career,” Chesney says, “I think artists need to keep pushing themselves and the music without losing sight of who they are, or forgetting the people you make music for. No Shoes Nation is a very passionate place without borders; I get inspired every time I see and hear them. These are passionate people who work really hard. They make a difference in their community in all kinds of ways, giving back not so people think they’re good, but because that’s who they are and what they do. When they listen to music, they’re all in – and when they hear something they like, you can feel it in how they respond.”
The album is available for pre-order/pre-save now.
