Kenny Chesney took to social media on Friday (July 31) to offer fans a tip on how to drink his Blue Chair Bay rum.
In the playful new clip, the superstar shares that the fan-favorite rum cream, which is offered in banana, key lime, coconut spiced and pineapple, is best served over ice. The twist, however, is that Chesney is seen sitting in an ice bath while drinking the Banana Rum Cream.
“I get asked a lot what’s the best way to drink Blue Chair Bay Rum Cream and I always say, ‘just add ice,’” he shares. “It’s better on ice. With just ice. And sometimes, it’s even better when your sitting in ice.”
The eight-time Entertainer of the Year offers a smile as he sinks down into his ice bath only to chuckle, “It’s a lot colder, I can tell you that!”
Chesney’s Blue Chair Bay rum is offered in a variety of flavors and was inspired by the Tennessee native’s love for the island lifestyle. Each bottle is made in the Caribbean with sugarcane molasses and natural ingredients. The company is fully owned by Kenny Chesney, who has a hand in creating the rum and designing the unique bottles.
Chesney, who will now embark on his Chillaxification Tour in 2021, recently revealed that his new album, Here And Now, will be released to vinyl next month. Out August 21, Here And Now will be pressed on clear vinyl, the color of green sea glass, and will be available via his website and at Walmart.
