Kenny Chesney’s Blue Chair Bay Rum Announces New Flavor, Partners With Tipsy Scoop For Boozy Ice Cream

Blue Chair Bay Rum and Tipsy Scoop have teamed up to create four brand new rum-infused ice cream flavors to kickstart the summer with.

Named after the fictional location mentioned in Kenny Chesney’s song “Old Blue Chair,” Blue Chair Bay Rum is owned by the singer/songwriter, who also acts as the chief creative officer of the company. While Tipsy Scoop, founded by Melissa Tavss, aims to combine ice cream and sundaes with artisanal cocktails, resulting in tasty sweet treats for adults. Together, these two companies are a force to be reckoned with!

Following the success of their non-dairy Piña Colada ice cream made with coconut milk, fresh coconut, pineapple, and Blue Chair Bay Rum released last summer, the pair introduced a 4-pack that includes four new flavors including Dirty Banana, Mango Daiquiri, Piña Colada and Spiked Key Lime Pie.

Blue Chair Bay’s Banana Rum Cream, Key Lime Rum Cream, Banana Rum, White Rum, Pineapple Rum Cream, Coconut Rum and their newest flavor Mango Rum Cream were used to create the decadent new flavors.

Additionally, consumers recently got the opportunity to play a part in Chesney’s new rum flavor, choosing mango as a flavor through a poll on social media. In a YouTube video shared by Chesney on March 1, he shared the results of the poll, as well as appreciation for the support.

“I want to say thanks to you guys and thanks to everybody actually that helped us pick the new flavor of Blue Chair Bay rum. It was either mango or mocha. I just wanted to say, I appreciate your participation, I appreciate you loving Blue Chair Bay and caring about the next flavor and I just wanted to let you know we have a winner.”

The Blue Chair Bay® x Tipsy Scoop Summer 4-pack and dairy-free Piña Colada are limited-edition, and are available only while supplies last. All flavors are up to 5% ABV and can only be consumed by individuals 21+.
