Laine Hardy made his debut on ABC’s The Bachelorette on Monday evening (July 5) with a performance of his brand new single, “Memorize You,”
The American Idol winner took the stage to perform the romantic tune during The Bachelorette’s Katie Thurston’s one-on-one date with Blake Moynes. It appears Hardy’s performance further ignited Thurston and Moynes’ attraction as they embraced each other and locked lips throughout his performance.
“Today was just perfect and tonight Blake and I were kind of just like in our own little world, dancing, listening to Laine Hardy,” Thurston said. “The song was called ‘Memorize You’ and it was really the perfect song to dance to with Blake and it’s so romantic.”
“I wanna know your heart by heart and your kiss by kiss/ Wanna know what it was like/ Everyday before me what’s your story baby every single line/ What makes you laugh makes you dance makes you fall like only love can do/ Give me some time with your smile baby I wanna memorize you,” Hardy croons on the chorus of the song, which was co-written by Michael Tyler, Eric Arjes and Steven Dale Jones.
“Memorize You” is the follow-up to Laine Hardy’s previous releases “Ground I Grew Up On,” “Tiny Town,” and “Other LA.” The track is set to appear on Hardy’s forthcoming debut album.
The Louisiana native will soon take the stage for the Country Now Live series, airing on exclusively on CTRL_MUSIC_ on Twitch. The FREE livestream will take place on Wednesday, July 14 at 9pm CT.
Additionally, Hardy is set to embark on the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour beginning July 22. Joining him on select dates of the tour will be Chris Bandi, Kylie Frey, Wyatt McCubbin, and Nick Walsh.
“I can’t wait to head out on tour in the fall and play some brand new music for everyone,” he shares. “Really excited to be hitting the road with the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour. It’s going to be a blast!”
