Laine Hardy just released his brand new single, “Memorize You,” and it’s destined to be his breakout radio hit.
Arriving just in time for summer, “Memorize You” finds Hardy crooning over a new fling, professing that he hopes to learn every single detail about her as their relationship continues to flourish.
“I wanna know your heart by heart and your kiss by kiss/ Wanna know what it was like/ Everyday before me what’s your story baby every single line/ What makes you laugh makes you dance makes you fall like only love can do/ Give me some time with your smile baby I wanna memorize you,” the American Idol champ sings on the chorus.
Co-written by Michael Tyler, Eric Arjes and Steven Dale Jones, and produced by Michael Knox (Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett), “Memorize You” is set to appear on the Louisiana native’s forthcoming debut album. During his guest appearance on American Idol on Sunday (May 16), Hardy revealed that the project is slated to be released in the fall.
“Let’s go!” Hardy says. “I’ve been so excited to get this out since the moment I heard the mix. I’ve been asking and asking when we could put it out. Well, it’s here and it’s time to hit the road to play it for the fans.”
Along with the release of the summer-ready track, the rising star also shared the official “Memorize You” music video. The clip was shot in various locations along 30A in Florida and was directed by Dustin Haney.
“Memorize You” is the follow-up to Laine Hardy’s previous releases “Ground I Grew Up On,” “Tiny Town,” and “Other LA.”
