Laine Hardy recently sat down to share his Christmas favorites with Country Now by completing our “This or That: Christmas Edition” quiz.

The American Idol champ revealed his holiday picks when it came to cookies, Christmas lights, festive foods and more. Check it out below.

Hardy, who recently landed a spot on Country Now‘s list of Artists to Watch in 2021, recently dropped his own version of the holiday classic, “Please Come Home for Christmas.”

Out now, the holiday tune showcases Hardy’s beloved vocals and offers a new take on the classic song.

“I’ve always had the Eagles version of this song on my playlists during the holidays,” Hardy shares. “Especially with everything going on right now, there are going to be a lot of people missing family and loved ones this Christmas. So I wanted to make my own version of the song, and hope it lifts people up this year.”

This isn’t Laine Hardy’s first holiday release. The singer previously shared a cover of “Blue Christmas” in 2018.

“Please Come Home for Christmas” follows the release of Hardy’s “Tiny Town,” which serves as an ode to small-town living.
