Lauren Alaina is ready to embark on the next chapter of her career.

The powerhouse vocalist has signed with Big Loud Records and has an album in the works.

“Signed a very BIG and LOUD record deal. Thank you, @bigloud for being willing and LABEL to make music with me. Let’s goooooo!!!! 🖊,” she proudly announced on Instagram.

“We feel like Lauren is absolutely one of the best vocalists, male or female, in this town,” Big Loud CEO/Partner Seth England shared with Billboard exclusively. “Certainly, she’s had success, but we humbly think she has barely scratched the surface of what we think we can do together. Lauren Alaina deserves to be, in my opinion, on the same pedestal as Carrie Underwood, and it’s our job to help her find that mode.”

The chart-topping star and Grand Ole Opry member feels right at home with her new label is ready to show fans what she’s been working on in the studio.

“I got a label that matches my personality: big, loud, and country,” Alaina told Billboard, referring to Big Loud Records as her “dream label.”

“I really want to tap into my country roots,” she added. “I don’t think people remember like how Southern I am…I’m a country girl through and through.”

The announcement comes on the heels of the release of Alaina’s new duet, “Dancin’ In The Moonlight,” with her now labelmate Chris Lane. The track is a reimagination of King Harvest’s 1973 hit of the same name.

Lauren Alaina joins Big Loud Records after departing Universal Music Group (UMG) ‘s Mercury Nashville earlier this year. Alaina spent nearly 11 years with her original label home, joining the roster following her time on American Idol.

Four months after signing with the label, Lauren Alaina released her debut album, Wildflower, which features the lead single, “Like My Mother Does.” The project debuted at No. 5 on the US Billboard 200 chart, making Alaina the youngest female artist at the time to debut that high on the chart since LeAnn Rimes’ 1996 debut album, Blue.

During her time with the label, Alaina released two EPs, including Getting Good (2020), Getting Over Him (2020), as well as three full-length albums, Wildflower (2011), Road Less Traveled (2017), Sitting Pretty on Top of the World (2021).

The powerhouse vocalist quickly became Nashville’s go-to duet partner, recording collaborations with artists such as Chris Young, Dustin Lynch, Jon Pardi, BRELAND and more.

The award-winning country superstar has gone on to earn numerous accolades as well as three No. 1 hits, including “Road Less Traveled,” her 6x Platinum duet with Kane Brown “What Ifs,” and “One Beer” with HARDY and Devin Dawson.

Alaina has also appeared on a variety of TV shows, including American Idol, Dancing With The Stars, as well as her recent appearance on CBS’ Beyond The Edge.

In 2021, Alaina’s career soared to new heights with the release of her inspirational book, Getting Good At Being You. She also fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a Grand Ole Opry member when her friend and fellow country star Trisha Yearwood invited her to join the coveted institution.

With a new label behind her and a new producer, Joey Moi, at the helm, Alaina is ready to make this next decade her best yet.

“(I want to) make music that I’m really proud of with a team that I’m really proud of,” she said. “I want to do as much as I can do in the next 10 years. And I’d probably like to also get married and have some kids. So, I want to be able to balance all of that in the next 10 years. I think it’s gonna be the biggest 10-year span of my life so far.”
