Jordan Davis releases “I Ain’t Sayin’,” the first radio single off his highly-anticipated new album due out next year.

The creation of the song came about during a writer’s retreat hosted by Davis that welcomed Travis Wood, Steve Moakler, Mark Holman, and Emily Reid to the serenity of Montana. Together, they crafted a song so catchy and uplifting that it’s bound to become a highlight of Davis’ live performances.

The upbeat track produced by Paul DiGiovanni finds the Louisiana native dishing out a story about a woman and a partner who doesn’t deserve her. He sings from the perspective of a man who witnesses a girl who appears to be waiting for her man at the bar, only to come to the conclusion that he has let her down and will be leaving her to finish the two drinks in front of her on her own. While Davis’ character admits he’s not perfect, he knows he’s better than the man who stood the woman up and he’s willing to give her “move on somewhere to go.”

“I ain’t saying I’m an angel, baby, if you can’t tell/ No, I ain’t the take you home to mama type/ I ain’t sayin’ he’s a bad guy, all I know is that guy/ Must’ve up and lost his mind tonight/ ‘Cause you’re down to the ice in that drink/ He didn’t buy, I’m here and he’s MIA/ That ain’t no kinda love, I ain’t sayin’ I’m the one/ I’m just sayin’ he sure as hell ain’t/ He sure as hell ain’t,” Davis sings on the chorus.

The addictive track serves as the follow-up to the CMA and ACM award-winning singer/songwriter’s seventh country radio No. 1, “Tucson Too Late.” Sure to be his next No.1 hit, “I Ain’t Sayin’” made its official radio debut on Thursday, July 25.

The official visualizer that also arrived today elevates the clever take on the typical “guy meets girl” tale and further highlights Jordan Davis’ signature sound.

He delivered the live debut of “I Ain’t Sayin’” to a crowd of 55,000+ fans at New York City’s Met Life Stadium on July 20 while serving as direct support for Luke Combs during his Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour.

Eager to share his new project that’s still in the works, Davis shard “I loved the feel of this song as one of the first new tracks off the new album, and it was amazing to be able to perform it for fans for the first time on stage this past weekend.”

Jordan Davis is also currently in the midst of his DAMN GOOD TIME Arena headlining tour. He still has plenty of dates on the books before wrapping up the trek in Abbottsford, BC on October 20. For a complete list of upcoming dates, click HERE.
